Pottery in France

Perrusse is a farming village with about 40 friendly people.
It is very rural, very quiet, it's not on a main route.

Area. Haute Marne: If you are looking for natural beauty you will find it in this department. Over 240,000 hectares of forest. It is no wonder that the wildlife here is abundant. You can search for the sources of three rivers: the Maas (Meuse La) at Pouilly the Marne south of Langres and south of the Aube Auberive. Chaumont is the capital positioned on a hill overlooking the area.
There are four lakes in the area where you can swim, there are wonderful walks, you can find horseback riding and cycling. Langres Chaumont are charming places to visit.

La Prairie is the pottery, housed in an old farmhouse. You will be welcomed by Christel Engelberts, who is also a passionate pottery.

Christel Engelberts : "I live and work for a large part of the year at La Prairie, "in the Haute Marne. I have worked for 15 years as an activity counselor with mentally handicapped. I have always done this with great pleasure. I have followed several courses 'creative crafts' and 'design and art history' in which various disciplines were learned. Since 1995, I especially love working with ceramics. I love this material that offers endless possibilities. Working with clay remains a wonderful experience for me!
